Product description

The Bohlender HT Laboratory Screw Joint GL 14 Ø 4.0 mm, SW 17, PPS is designed for securely connecting equipment and fittings with GL threads to hard-walled tubing or tubes made of glass, plastic, or metal. It is also suitable for fixing probes, thermometers, dip tubes, or cables in reaction vessels. The black screw cap is made of PPS, with inner components consisting of a v-ring (PPS), a tapered ring and a sealing ring (both PTFE), and an o-ring (FKM) for tubing diameters under 3 mm (not exposed to the medium). This design ensures excellent chemical resistance, as the medium only contacts PTFE. The joint is temperature resistant from -50 to 250 °C, pressure stable up to 10 bar, and suitable for vacuum applications.
